BENEATH THE SURFACE

Relying on using the open studio spaces is becoming a great concern. As every bodies projects are progressing, space is becoming more and more hard to find in the studios. On arrival there was no room for me to apply makeup in the basement space, meaning I would have to leave the studio I had hoped to use. After doing the makeup and hair preparations on the fourth floor, I was then faced with the challenge of completing the shoot in a class room!

The thought of doing such an experimentally, and  potentially messy shoot in the middle of a class was incredibly daunting. I had practically written off any chance of producing this shoot successfully by this point. We were also against the clock as the model had a time constraint.

Me and the photographer kept our cool and worked together to set up a mini studio space. The ability to stay calm and collected when everything seems to be going against you paid off! I was presently surprised with what we were able to achieve under the conditions we faced.
